Columbus, Ohio / New Albany, Ohio Family Photographer || Stella's Boss Babe First Birthday Portraits - Fox in the Snow Cafe

Oh my goodness, what a fun session we had simply letting Stella enjoy a brownie and play pretend ‘boss babe’ for her first birthday portraits! Stella’s brother, Porter, did a Boss Baby themed session a few years ago so this twist on that type of session was brilliantly thought up by Stella and Porter’s mama! Stella is the most precious girl. She loved making silly sounds with me, smiling, and catching the attention of the patrons at Fox in the Snow safe. She enjoyed her session and that’s the BEST thing I love about letting these little ones show off their personalities!

Mount Vernon, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Newborn Photographer || Mister Jonathan

This little guy has been LONG awaited by his parents and their family! He has been named after his grandpas! (I love that!)

Many of little Jonathan’s images featured sentimental items. A hat and shoes from his grandpas, blankets from family members and a oneie that holds a quote that his parents fully believe, Jonathan was ‘worth the wait’!

I’ve known this couple since photographing their wedding years ago and this little miracle is truly a dream come true! <3

Mount Vernon, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Senior Photographer || Mount Vernon 2019: Taryn

Taryn shared with me one of the passions of her life, MUSIC! I got a sneak peek into the Mount Vernon band room and she shared some of her favorite things about her time in band and her dreams of pursuing a career in music.

Taryn also brought some sentimental items to include her late grandmother in her senior portraits. It was a very sobering and emotional moment for all of us at the session to photograph her childhood images of her grandmother and also a scarf that her grandma passed to her. It was such a beautiful honor to photograph something so special.

Mount Vernon, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Family Photographer: Margaret's First Birthday

Margaret's mom, Jasmine explained to me that she had the vision to incorporate the career of Margaret's Dad, Seth into her first birthday pictures. She explained that Seth was a welder and started going into detail about what she wanted to incorporate in the session.

I was so excited and could not wait for the day of this session to come! I feel like it went really well! I mean, look at her little welder's cap! It's is adorable?! Little Margaret really loved playing in her daddy's tool box. She is such a sweet little thing and I loved getting to photograph her and her family!
