Columbus, Ohio / Mount Vernon Ohio Senior Photographer: Julia 2022

Meeting Julia was such a wonderful experience. She is so beautiful and kind! She and her mom came from Mount Vernon to get her portraits taken near the woods of Alum Creek! I loved getting to learn more about Julia. She shared with me that she wants to have a career in the medical field and is currently working towards that goal. I am sure she will have GREAT bed side manner! She also arrive in this beautiful outfit that I thought was so classic, beautiful and flattering! Wearing a jean jacket, she was able to easily change up her look too! It was a brilliant choice!

I know Julia is going to have an incredible and valuable impact on the world. Thanks for hanging out with me Julia. I loved meeting you!!

Columbus, Ohio / Centerburg, Ohio Family & Senior Photographer || 2022 SENIOR: Lianna

Lianna has just started her senior year and although she skipped hoco, she is still enjoying other moments of her year like band and looking forward to Prom! I was IN LOVE with Lianna’s accessory choices during her session. I mean, peep the gummy bear necklace THEN she swapped to an ‘i hate you’ choker when she swtiched to her second outfit with the red top. I’m getting Olivia Rodrigo vibes!

Lianna is a natural born model and I know she had so much fun during her session and I had fun working with her and her family again!

Columbus Ohio / Westerville Ohio Family & Senior Photographer || Andrea 2022

Recently I got to meet Andrea and her mom! Andrea is enjoying her senior year and right before this session had celebrated her Senior homecoming at school! We caught the last weekend of sunflowers at The Patch on 37 ran by Lynd’s Fruit Farm and I love how bright and happy Andrea looks surrounded by sunflowers!

We were so lucky to get beautiful weather and sunshine for this session. I’m looking forward to meeting up with Andrea soon for part two of her Senior Session!

Columbus Ohio / Westerville Ohio Family & Senior Photographer || Lanie

I have been so excited to share this preview for this session with all of you! Being new to the Sunbury/Westerville/Delaware area I was scout out some new locations! I found quite a few spots and wanted to step out of the box of ‘my normal’ and find a model to hang out with me for an informal session.

After putting out a model search request in the area, Lanie’s mom reached out to me and told me about her daughter. After hearing about Lanie, I was really looking forward to meeting her and her mom. When we met up for this session, we instantly clicked and spent so much time joking and laughing during the session. Lanie is complete sunshine and has so much confidence! I loved how that shined in these photos. I got to hear about her summer, how school is and what she did over the weekend…. it was like being with family!

Thank you Lanie and Michelle for spending an evening with me and letting me capture these images. I am so happy I got to meet you both!

If you or someone you know is interested in a session with us, please feel free to share our site with them or contact us at envphotographyy.com/contact!

Mount Vernon, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Senior Photographer || East Knox 2020: Meggan

A few years ago her sister had portraits done but now it’s Meggan’s turn! Meggan’s outfits are stunning and so Fall! I really loved how easy going and natural Meggan was in front of the camera. I enjoyed getting to hear about her plans for after high school and how much she enjoyed homecoming.

Thanks for stepping in front of my camera Meggan! I’m so happy I got to see you again!

Mount Vernon, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Senior Photographer || Centerburg 2020: Tyler

Tyler is such a great guy! We had a great time together during his session! Tyler loves the outdoors and even more specifically, he really enjoys trap shooting! Aside from that, Tyler also plays baseball. During his session, I had time to learn about how he started his love of shooting as a sport. He and his family were so welcoming! I really hope I get to see them again sometime. Until then, I hope Tyler has an INCREDIBLE senior year!

Mount Vernon, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Senior Photographer || KCCC 2020: Taylyn

You’d never know it, but when Taylyn arrived to her session, her words were ‘I’m just here.’ and she was unsure of what her senior portrait experience was going to be. About 15 minutes into the session, Taylyn was giggling and started to show her true self. After a few more minutes, I asked Taylyn to ‘freestyle’ it for a minute and that’s when I called her a liar. (In the best way!) She was not just there. She was KILLING the poses and she was starting to enjoy what I wanted her and every human being who steps in front of my camera to experience: A moment where they can be their truest self.

By the end of the session, Taylyn had been goofy, sarcastic, laughed hard and loud…. She flipped her hair and walked with confidence and sass. She didn’t water herself down or guard herself. I think what was more enjoyable than watching Taylyn be herself was watching her mother literally GLOW with a huge smile on her face because her daughter was having a good time. That was the best!

I get to hang out with Taylyn again in a few months and I can’t wait to catch up with her on life and meet her cow! Until then, we have these images to love on.

The third and youngest of the Trapp ladies have stepped in front of my camera. It’s not Kimberly’s turn to celebrate her senior year. She has worked tirelessly and committed tons of her time to soccer. I really loved getting to know her and listen to all the things she’s looking forward to in the coming year and beyond.

Mount Vernon, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Senior Photographer || Danville 2020: Vivian

Vivian is living her best life! She has a full schedule these days and has been traveling too! Vivian was recently apart of local theater production, The Wizard of Oz and has also been spending the summer scouting colleges! She shared with me how much she enjoys a moment instead of a place. I thought that was so wise. She further explained that she enjoys a place because of the people and moments created there instead of just the place. I felt that was SO soulful and mature.

In her downtime, she loves to do her nails and GIRL CAN DO SOME NICE NAILS! She’s so talented, sweet and was so fun to work with! I’m wishing Vivian the BEST senior year ever! <3

Mount Vernon, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Senior Photographer || Centerburg 2019: Andrea

One of my favorite things about senior photography is getting to understand each senior, then to cater the photography around the senior to properly reflect them and a person. Andrea wasn’t super excited about getting her senior portraits done, at first. But surely, making jokes about myself had her cracking smiles and enjoying her session. Sorry Andrea, you lost but in the best way possible <3 I loved getting to meet Andrea and her family, learning about what she is looking forward to in her future as she soon graduates and starts her new journey in college!

Mount Vernon, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Senior Photographer || Mount Vernon 2019: Corrick

Corrick has DAYS until he is a high school graduate! I’ve known Corrick for a few years now through various family sessions I’ve gotten to do for his family. To see that he is a senior makes me feel like time has passed too quickly but I’m sure for Corrick, it needs to move faster with graduation just in reach!

Mount Vernon, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Senior Photographer || Highland 2019: Isaiah

Isaiah really surprised me when he showed up to the studio. He immediately introduced himself and shook my hand. This typically isn’t the norm. Seniors sometimes arrive to sessions nervous and unsure of what a session entails so the parent is typically the one doing most of the talking at first. This was not the case and I was thrilled that Isaiah was so excited for his session.

Isaiah’s outfits are incredible. Believe me when I chuckled a bit at the fanny pack. Heads up: Their making a comeback! During Isaiah’s session, he, his dad, and I spoke about life, college, and sports. Isaiah is passionate about football and lifting. I really enjoyed Isaiah’s energy and personality that I think shines through in his images. I am so happy I got to meet him and his father. They are really great people!

Mount Vernon, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Senior Photographer || Mount Vernon 2019: Kassie

Kassie is looking forward to dedicating her life to educating little ones! She loved telling me about her interest in teaching small children. She also participated in FFA and Mount Vernon’s bowling team! (I wish there was a bowling team when I was in high school!!!)

Kassie is such a kind girl! We had many laughs and I hope she enjoyed her session <3

Mount Vernon, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Senior Photographer || Mount Vernon 2019: Taryn

Taryn shared with me one of the passions of her life, MUSIC! I got a sneak peek into the Mount Vernon band room and she shared some of her favorite things about her time in band and her dreams of pursuing a career in music.

Taryn also brought some sentimental items to include her late grandmother in her senior portraits. It was a very sobering and emotional moment for all of us at the session to photograph her childhood images of her grandmother and also a scarf that her grandma passed to her. It was such a beautiful honor to photograph something so special.

Mount Vernon, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Senior Photographer || East Knox 2019: Cade

When Cade's mom called me, she was telling me all about Cade! I was excited to get to meet a new senior! Then she mentioned a cow and I was BEYOND excited! All of you know that if it involves a furry animal, I'm all for it. Cade was hilarious during his session. His parents kept pestering him and teasing him so I was able to catch a few good smirks that I will show later on. You'll see Jack, Cade's cow, at fair this year! And I'll be seeing Cade again in the fall!

Mount Vernon Ohio \ Columbus Ohio Senior Photographer || Mount Vernon 2019: Alec

Alec had me laughing his ENTIRE session. He is a really funny and nice guy! I was really excited when his mom told me he wanted pictures at the fire station where he is a cadet. Alec was inspired by a family friend to join and when he speaks about his time as a cadet, you can tell he is really passionate about it! Alec is also looking forward to voting in this upcoming election as he turns 18 RIGHT before election day! I loved getting to know him and his mom while photographing his senior portraits!

I also want to give a big thank you to Halle for referring us to Alec’s mom! We appreciate your support <3

Mount Vernon, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Senior Photographer || Mount Vernon 2019: Eric

Eric spent his summer in basic training! He’s back and living his best senior year! He’s really passionate about his future and his education too. The worry of grades, choice of college, and deadlines filled conversations with a mix of military talk and his experience at basic. Eric + family, thanks for hanging out with me for the evening and sharing with me about your lives and experiences. I loved learning about you all!

Mount Vernon, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Senior Photographer || Centerburg 2019: Cate

Upon first meeting Cate, she seems like a normal girl. But in about 30 seconds of talking to her, she handles herself as an adult. Cate loves sports, she’s looking forward to college and wants to do something that incorporates engineering and some sort of humanitarian cause like the water crisis in third world countries and creating water systems.

Cate is brilliant! She has also played the piano since second grade. Her family welcomed me into her home to photograph Cate by the piano. I asked her to play for me to get some really genuine shots. While she played, I felt tears welling up in my eyes. I have never gotten emotional when anyone else has played for me. I watched Cate and she allowed herself to be so vulnerable in that moment. She just like the music be created from the tips of her fingers onto the keys of the piano. It was moving. I wasn’t the only one though, mom was getting misty eyed too.

Cate, thank you for allowing me to photograph you. For sharing your story and bits of your life with me. I hope you love your senior portraits.
