Columbus, Ohio / Delaware, Ohio Family Photographer || The LeGros Family

Oh my goodness was this session FUN! This little lady, along with her parents, joined me for a session and she was the star of the show! She wanted to tell me all about school, Santa, what she wanted for Christmas… her perspective and opinions on things was so sweet to hear! She has so many thoughts she loved expressing and I loved how we all listened. These family sessions have been so nice. It’s beautiful watching these families and capturing all their precious moments together.

LeGros family, thank you for spending a session with me and letting me capture your personalities!!!

Columbus, Ohio / Delaware, Ohio Family Photographer || The Snyder Family

The last time I saw this family was when their little boy was just six months old! He’s grown so much but their family’s joy and love for each other has not changed! I really enjoyed how we let Jeremiah enjoy his exploring and captured how mom and dad play with him! So many smiles and laughs! It was everything!

Thank you Aysha and Brad for letting me photograph your family again. You all are always such a joy to be around!

Blacklick, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Family Portrait Photographer || The Crawford Family

I can’t describe to you the feeling of seeing a client after a little while. Many of you know I took a break from ‘FULL TIME’ photography during the pandemic and have since come roaring back to full time status this year. My expectation of my clients returning to me was… well… I told myself, ‘They won’t be back because they found other talented people and I shouldn’t expect them to. It was ME who stepped away so I can’t expect anyone to return.’

YOU GUYS PROVED ME WRONG. I thank God every night for that too! The Crawford family was not always what you see here. Years ago, it was a bride and groom in front of my camera. Then I saw a husband and wife through my lens, expecting their first child. After a few weeks, their ‘bump’ turned into a sweet baby boy who I held in my studio and wrapped in soft blue cloth. Now you see them here in these photographs as a family, navigating life together.

Their sweet boy is a little camera shy so while maybe ‘traditionally’ portraits might be looking at the camera, his parents and I decided that he came before the vanity of photos. I think we made the right call. Little ones have BIG feelings that they can’t always express or know how to perfectly explain so I think that our choice to respect him turned into some REALLY beautiful and stunning moments. I truly adore what we captured here. Our babies are not little for long. Let’s agree to capture their tiny bodies in our arms for as long as we can. Let’s soak in the snuggles and cuddles. How about we let them be little and capture them just like that. <3

Columbus, Ohio / Centerburg, Ohio Family & Senior Photographer || 2022 SENIOR: Lianna

Lianna has just started her senior year and although she skipped hoco, she is still enjoying other moments of her year like band and looking forward to Prom! I was IN LOVE with Lianna’s accessory choices during her session. I mean, peep the gummy bear necklace THEN she swapped to an ‘i hate you’ choker when she swtiched to her second outfit with the red top. I’m getting Olivia Rodrigo vibes!

Lianna is a natural born model and I know she had so much fun during her session and I had fun working with her and her family again!

Columbus Ohio / Westerville Ohio Family & Senior Photographer || Lanie

I have been so excited to share this preview for this session with all of you! Being new to the Sunbury/Westerville/Delaware area I was scout out some new locations! I found quite a few spots and wanted to step out of the box of ‘my normal’ and find a model to hang out with me for an informal session.

After putting out a model search request in the area, Lanie’s mom reached out to me and told me about her daughter. After hearing about Lanie, I was really looking forward to meeting her and her mom. When we met up for this session, we instantly clicked and spent so much time joking and laughing during the session. Lanie is complete sunshine and has so much confidence! I loved how that shined in these photos. I got to hear about her summer, how school is and what she did over the weekend…. it was like being with family!

Thank you Lanie and Michelle for spending an evening with me and letting me capture these images. I am so happy I got to meet you both!
