I’ve really enjoyed watching this family grow. Over the years, they have continued to support me. I’m thankful for them and in awe of how beautiful and wonderful they are! When you have many people in your family and everyone gets busy, it’s hard to get together. Every family member has different things going on but this family took the time to get some portraits done before some of them went back home.
Cousins are so fun and I love photographing them. They all love each other and their Grandma very much! Thank you to this family for taking the time to allow me to photograph you. I hope that you look back and these portraits for years to come and love remembering how every soul in these images has grown since then.

You’d never know it, but when Taylyn arrived to her session, her words were ‘I’m just here.’ and she was unsure of what her senior portrait experience was going to be. About 15 minutes into the session, Taylyn was giggling and started to show her true self. After a few more minutes, I asked Taylyn to ‘freestyle’ it for a minute and that’s when I called her a liar. (In the best way!) She was not just there. She was KILLING the poses and she was starting to enjoy what I wanted her and every human being who steps in front of my camera to experience: A moment where they can be their truest self.
By the end of the session, Taylyn had been goofy, sarcastic, laughed hard and loud…. She flipped her hair and walked with confidence and sass. She didn’t water herself down or guard herself. I think what was more enjoyable than watching Taylyn be herself was watching her mother literally GLOW with a huge smile on her face because her daughter was having a good time. That was the best!
I get to hang out with Taylyn again in a few months and I can’t wait to catch up with her on life and meet her cow! Until then, we have these images to love on.

Oh sweet smiles, this session is heavenly! I loved getting to spend time with the Krownapples! Their sweet little family was full of energy and love for each other. Even though it was hot, it was a beautiful day and perfect for the little ones to play and spend time with their parents!

Alice is one! Her parents LOVED the idea of playing on the idea of Alice in Wonderland for her first birthday portraits. I thought it was a brilliant idea. Alice’s parents brought tons of props to use and I loved the Mad Hatter’s hat! SO SO GOOD! I love this session and the ideas parents bring to the table to create!

Oh little William Emmett is brand new to the world and just the sweetest boy! He’s his dad’s twin and loves his mama’s cuddles. I’ve anticipated the day of his arrival from the moment I got to know his parents. They are so immensely blessed getting to raise this sweet little man.

Krissy and Sara met at OSU. Being through milestones, birthdays, break ups, hard times, and the best of times… it was time to celebrate their friendship with a session. We included all the things from sunglasses to selfies, and even the iconic Buckeye donuts!
I loved this session. It was very natural and I even felt a little out of place at times because Krissy and Sara were so themselves and that’s everything that I wanted for these images. I just wanted to capture them together without any staging. I wanted the silliness, laughs, and happiness that is everything that their friendship is.

I can not believe the journey I’ve taken with Gavin’s parents. We had a great time talking about our sessions together. Gavin’s parents hired me when I didn’t think I was ever going to be a good photographer. They contacted me and asked me to travel to Columbus to do a session semi-surrounding Jeni’s ice cream. I thought ‘Wow, they think I can handle this? Can I handle this?! Ok, I need to just NAIL this.’ So as time went on, I photographed their wedding and now their newborn son! AHH Such an emotional moment!
Gavin was the BEST little guy. I wanna just call this session ‘little boy blue’ because of all the blue tones, patterns and textures. I just love this so much. I took a risk and did something I usually NEVER do and I literally pulled EVERY mid to dark blue and tried to incorporate it. Very mono toned and I don’t regret it.
Gavin slept so well for his session but had so many facial expressions while he slept! He’s gonna have a fun personality!

I can not believe Porter is two! Last year, we had an awesome Boss Baby themed session with him but this year, is the year of the COW! (At least for Porter it is!) Porter loves the farm life right now and he’s a cute little farmer! He loves helping his great grandpa who is just his favorite.

It wasn’t long ago that we were at Mohican Gardens for Justin and Emily’s wedding reception. Now, Justin and Emily are preparing to greet their first baby, a boy! While it was probably one of the hottest days of 2019 thus far, it was a really good one. Kerstin and Bleu married this weekend at a church that has long hosted her family followed by a beautiful reception at Worthington Hills Country Club! WIth their engagement session last year and their wedding this year, I’ve long waited this day for these two! I’m wishing them sunny days and lots of love on their honeymoon and every day there after!

Alex and Paige are so sweet both individually and together. Their wedding day was not only their marriage, but the joining of a family with little William included. Jon and I loved getting to watch this couple enjoy their day. Their friends and family showered them will love and smiles. It was incredible to watch! If you don’t know them, you need to know their love for cats which just perfectly enough, Irongate’s resident cat decided to join us during some portraits which was just a bonus to a great day!
My favorite image out of all of these is when little William walked into my shot, not knowing what he was going to see happening in the stall. William quickly shielded his eyes, giving me the perfect shot and a good laugh!

After an entire day of constant rainfall pushed their ceremony inside, Schyler + Toshia’s wedding day was all happiness, fun and games!
I adore Toshia’s bright personality and her stunning, classic gown. She was totally calm and collected while we all worked together to still do everything we wanted to do that the rain tried to ruin but didn’t. So many of Schyler and Toshia’s family and friends were so over the moon happy for them. They also enjoyed all the amazing desserts and fun games that this couple played during their reception. Cash dash, newlywed game AND of course cake went flying around cake cutting time.

One of my favorite things about senior photography is getting to understand each senior, then to cater the photography around the senior to properly reflect them and a person. Andrea wasn’t super excited about getting her senior portraits done, at first. But surely, making jokes about myself had her cracking smiles and enjoying her session. Sorry Andrea, you lost but in the best way possible <3 I loved getting to meet Andrea and her family, learning about what she is looking forward to in her future as she soon graduates and starts her new journey in college!

Corrick has DAYS until he is a high school graduate! I’ve known Corrick for a few years now through various family sessions I’ve gotten to do for his family. To see that he is a senior makes me feel like time has passed too quickly but I’m sure for Corrick, it needs to move faster with graduation just in reach!
